Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was released on August 21st, 2020. It’s now available from most major carriers and can be purchased for as little as $1,049 at Best Buy. Samsung’s design is reminiscent of a corner office, but with modern features and a sleek, modern feel. Despite the high price tag, we recommend buying this phone if you’re considering purchasing one.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s screen is a stunning AMOLED display. It has a smooth transition of colors, with inky blacks. The screen is also 20% brighter than its predecessor and supports HDR10+. It’s also comparable to the S20 line and the new Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung has done a good job of delivering a phone with a great screen, and the Note 20 Ultra is no exception.
Its camera
Its camera on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is one of the best in its class. The camera is a great addition to this $1300 flagship, but it’s not perfect. If you’re a photographer, the Google Pixel 4a takes better low-light pictures. That said, the Note20 Ultra’s camera is still in the same league as Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro. The Samsung Note20 Ultra’s camera captures details beautifully and has low noise. While photos taken with this phone are not as “natural” as those taken with the S20 Ultra, they look very good. Its improved noise and HDR features help make the photos more pleasing to look at. It is worth noting that the Note20 Ultra’s camera shoots at 12MP by default, but can boost the resolution up to 108MP if you want to. While this camera is not the best, it is perfectly functional in most light conditions.
Its display
Samsung’s latest flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, boasts a spectacular display. This screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, compared to 60 Hz for the Note 10+. The phone’s screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass 7 and supports HDR10+ content. In a recent display test, the Note 20 Ultra was given an impressive 11 awards, including five for best mobile display.
Samsung’s new flagship phone, the Galaxy Fold 2, will have cameras different from the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s. The Note 20 Ultra’s dual rear cameras feature a 108-megapixel main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Both lenses support 5x optical zoom. Samsung has not yet announced if the Fold 2 will also support the 120hz mode. Ultimately, we’ll know more about the Note 20 Ultra’s display when it launches later this year.
